London Intermediate players are invited to our one day tournament at the Clissold Arms.

Registration and Entry is just £55 and includes the famous Clissold Arms backgammon lunch.

UKBGF members will get a £5 discount.
Only UKBGF members are eligible to play in the UKBGF Tour Winners Competition.

There is £1000 in prize pool.

The format will be a 64 player knockout (7 points). All match losers go into a Consolation (5 points). All third round losers go into the Last Chance (5 points). 

The prize pool will be split 50/30/20 with 1st/2nd 70/30 in each of the flights.

There will be Side Pools of £10 & £20  each split as above.

Side Pools can be paid in advance or in cash at the event.  Please bring a board if you can.

This is only open to Intermediate players.  Here is a list of players who are ineligible to play 

Matches are clock mandatory and are set to 90 seconds + 12s delay.
There will be clocks available to buy at heavily discounted prices.

*The £1000 prize money is subject to 64 players.  In case we are not sold out, there will be £15 deducted from this for each unsold place.

Rules are as set down by the UKBGF here.  

If there is any problem or dispute, you must report it to the TD as soon as it is noticed.  There will be a ruling committee (RC) made up of players at the event.  You may appeal the decision of the TD to the RC who's decision is final.

The TD's reserve the right to change any aspect of the format to enable the smooth running of the tournament.

Your entry is not confirmed until you have paid your registration fee.  Only the first 64 players who pay will be confirmed.  Everyone else will go on a waiting list in case any players drop out.
