As you know, we sold out all 128 places for The Players Championship on December 12th & 13th in only two days. It looks like it's going to be another fantastic event and to make it even better we have the most amazing prizes to give to the winners and finalists.

On Saturday we will have the qualifying rounds where 32 players will go into the Main on Sunday, and the remaining players will be in two Consolations. In each of these groups we will be giving a P-40 board worth $995 to the winner.

The wonderful people at American Wholesaler (UK & Europe) and Gammon Village (US) wanted to be involved with our competition and have supplied us with three fantastic Silverman boards for our three second placed players.

That's a total of six amazing boards to be won.

To make this event even more special, we will be live streaming throughout the weekend and UKBGF are sponsoring UK Grand Master Julian Fetterlein at Backgammon Workshop to provide commentary on some of the key matches. We would also like to encourage your participation, so if you would like to join Andrew in the commentary box please let us know.

Games will be played on Backgammon Studio Heroes, with 11 points for all Undefeated / Main Events, and 9 points for all defeated brackets and the Consolation Events will be 11 points for the first round, then 9 points.

All matches will entered into the UKBGF Online Ratings.
