As well as the  London Intermediates Championship with 64 players, we are also running an Open competition. with up to 64 players.

The registration for Singles day is £35/£40 non UKBGF members.

The Intermediates will have a Main, Consolation and last chance with boards for the winners and the Main runner up.  

The Open flight is a 7pt knockout with a fighters bracket and a Lucky Loser competition.  £15 of each players registration will be put into the prize fund for the 1st & 2nd places.  

The Intermediates will also be a UKBGF Tour Winners Invitational Qualifier.  You're UKBGF rating must be below 1600 to enter the Intermediates.  Once the Intermediates is full, players will be automatically placed in the Open flight.

There will be additional side pools with 100% return to be  paid during registration

There will be a maximum of 64 players in each flight.  Undefeated players will play 7 point matches, otherwise matches will be 5pts Clock settings are 90s and 12s clock preference in the Intermediates and mandatory the Open flight.

Play starts at 11am with morning registration from 10am.

Sunday: UKBGF Clubs Championships 2023

Backgammon London  are proud to be hosting the UKGBF Clubs Championships this year.  Registration is from just £15 per team member + £15 entry to the prize pool. This includes a buffet lunch.

If you would like you to reserve a place for your team please fill out the registration form below.  Preference will be given to clubs on the UKBGF clubs page, then second teams, then other clubs.  There is space for 32 teams.

Central London location: Ambassador Bloomsbury Hotel, 12 Upper Woburn Place, WC1H 0HX
Near Euston and Kings Cross stations.

Registration and Entry £150 per team (+ £10 for each player who is not a UKBGF Member)
50% of this goes into the prize pool - 70/30 split between Main and Consolation, 70/30 split for winners/runners up with 100% return.

Each team must be 5 players.  Maximum of 32 teams can enter.

Format:
Stage 1: Round Robin groups of 4 teams. with 5pt matches

Stage 2: Main flight - Division winners knockout with 5pt matches

Consolation flight - 5pt knockout

Play starts at 11am.
