UKBGF Tour Event

The London Intermediates are back at the Clissold Arms, this time for a weekend of backgammon with our favourite triple chance Saturday qualifier and three round minimum Sunday.

Registration and Entry is £75 for UKBGF members or £80 and includes the famous Clissold Arms backgammon Greek buffet.

Registration is only for intermediate players. Check that your name is not on this list. You will be able to gain points for the for the prestigious UKBGF tour final.

The prize pool is £1000.

Saturday: Triple chance qualifier for Main. Undefeated 9pts, 1 loss 7pts, 2 loss 5pts.

Sunday: Main (32 players),
1st round losers to 2nd round of Consolation,
2nd round losers to 3rd round of Consolation.
Consolation with 32 players.
First 32 losers to Last Chance, Next 16 losers to Lucky Losers.

Main 9pts, Consolation 7pts, Last Chance 5pts, Lucky Loser 5pts.

The prize pool will be split 50/30/20 with 1st/2nd 70/30 in each of the flights.

There will be Side Pools of £10 & £20 each split as above.

Side Pools can be paid in advance or in cash at the event. Please bring a board if you can.

This is only open to Intermediate players. Here is a list of players who are ineligible to play

Matches are clock mandatory and are set to 90 seconds + 12s delay.
There will be clocks available to buy at heavily discounted prices.

*The £1000 prize money is subject to 64 players. In case we are not sold out, there will be £15 deducted from this for each unsold place.

If there is any problem or dispute, you must report it to the TD as soon as it is noticed. There will be a ruling committee (RC) made up of players at the event. You may appeal the decision of the TD to the RC who's decision is final.

The TD's reserve the right to change any aspect of the format to enable the smooth running of the tournament.

Your entry is not confirmed until you have paid your registration fee. Only the first 64 players who pay will be confirmed. Everyone else will go on a waiting list in case any players drop out.
