The London Intermediates were once again held at the Clissold Arms. There was a full house of 64 players over two days. The first day saw players in groups of 16 with a 50% chance of qualifing for the Main on Sunday and the rest going into the Consolation.
Sunday's Main was 5 rounds of 9 points. Losers in the first round went into the Consolation and losers in the second round into the Last Chance. The Consolation was 7 points with first and second round loser also going into the Last Chance.
Mahmoud Jahanbani won our Lucky Loser competition and took home a lovely backgammon goody bag with gifts and leather work by Rowena Paliwoda.
In addition we added a 1-point competition with a rollup travel board going to the player with the most wins. It was hotly contested with Narkis Zabari winning with 18 wins (out of 34 played) and Mustufa Guzel with 17 wins.
