ArtGammon London Knockout (Live Play)

We are proud to announce that ArtGammon are sponsoring the competition and will be suppling their ArtGammon 21" Carbon Fiber style board as the winners prize and an ArtGammon medium size board the runner up and a travel board for 3rd place.

The format for this competition is a Triple Elimination More Swiss with rounds every four weeks.

Format and Rules:

• All matches are 17 points.

• UKBGF Rules apply.  It is Clock Preference with 90 seconds per point + 12 seconds delay. 

• This is a live play event in and around London.  It is your responsibility to arrange your match at an agreed time and place.

• There are optional side pools of £10, £20 & £50 with a 100% return.  The side pool split will be 70/30 to the two highest placed players in each pool.

• All matches will be UKBGF rated and follow the UKBGF rules.

• You are expected to make every effort to turn up once you have arranged your match.  If you are more than 30 minutes late, your opponent is entitled to claim the match.  The same applies if you don't respond to match requests and the match is not played.   If you are going to be late make sure you contact your opponent and they are more likely to be understanding.

• Registration and draws will be managed on Backgammon Hub.   Make sure you schedule your matches through BH so that we can check the log in case matches do not get played.

• UKBGF Rule & Code of Conduct applies

• This is a BMAB authorised event. If you want your matches to count you must inform Andrew or David before the tournament starts and every match you play must be recorded, transcribed and submitted to BMAB.
